On September 28, 2015, the CMS Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovations (CMMI) announced that it will begin testing new payment models for medication therapy management (MTM) in January 2017 for stand-alone prescription drug plans (PDPs) under the Medicare Part D program. AMCP provided a summary of CMS' requirements to participate.
