Building the Foundation for Patient-Reported Outcomes: Infrastructure and Methodologies Partnership Forum

Partnership Forum

During the 2017 Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) Forum, stakeholders created an “ideal state for PROs.” In addition, consensus was reached on two overarching issues: the importance of PROs in defining value, improving patient care, and implementing value-based payment model, and the need for strong organizational and operational systems to achieve optimal adoption and use. The focus of 2018 PRO forum was to identify tactics to achieve the “ideal state.” The AMCP Partnership Forum, Building the Foundation for Patient-Reported Outcomes: Infrastructure and Methodologies, took place on Oct. 25, 2018 in Orlando, FL.

The recommendations came from attendees who represented a wide range of stakeholder, including patients, payers, providers, government and biopharmaceutical companies.

The October event was support by Allergan, Amgen, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, Novo Nordisk, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), Sanofi, Takeda and Xcenda, a part of AmerisourceBergen.
