On April 4, 2016, CMS released its 2017 Final Call Letter. CMS acknowledged AMCP in the 2017 Final Call Letter and credits the important work that AMCP’s Medication Therapy Management Advisory Group is doing to develop a framework to define drug therapy problems. Additionally, CMS altered its timeline for removing the high-risk medication (HRM) measure from the Star Ratings from 2017 to 2018.
