AMCP Statement of Support for FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf

Alexandria, Va., Feb. 15, 2022 — Following the U.S. Senate’s confirmation of Robert Califf, MD, MACC, as Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), AMCP offered the following statement of support: 

"AMCP congratulates Dr. Robert Califf on his confirmation as Commissioner of the FDA. Dr. Califf has already proven himself as a leader during his first tenure as FDA Commissioner under the Obama administration, and we look forward to continuing our work with him and the FDA to help people get the medications they need at a cost they can afford."
