Chris Lyons Joins AMCP as Chief Operating Officer
Alexandria, Va., Nov. 28, 2016 — The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Chris Lyons in the new role of AMCP Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Lyons previously served for three years as CEO of the Society for Technical Communication, where he successfully improved STC’s finances, stabilized membership, created a professional certification scheme and re-envisioned the organization’s annual conference. Prior to STC, he founded a consulting business, the Fairhaven Group, and worked for many years for IBM Global Services. Mr. Lyons also served as a pilot in the Navy. He received a BA from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Cantrell, RPh, CAE. “Our organization is undergoing significant growth, and we need the expertise and experience that he brings to association management to ensure our continued success into the future.”
