AMCP Names Boyang Dong 2025–2026 Executive Fellow in Health Care Association Leadership
Alexandria, Va., March 25, 2025 — AMCP has selected Boyang Dong, PharmD candidate at Purdue University, as its 2025–2026 Executive Fellow in Health Care Association Leadership. This year-long program offers pharmacists structured and immersive experiences in association management and managed care pharmacy leadership.

“AMCP’s mission aligns with my passion for advancing health access and value-driven decision-making,” said Dong. “AMCP has played a key role in shaping my journey—from serving as Chapter President and participating in the LEO Pharma Shadowing Day to networking at conferences, conducting research with BBCIC, and competing in the P&T Competition. This fellowship is the ideal next step to give back while sharpening my leadership, strategic, and advocacy skills to drive patient-centered, evidence-based health care solutions.”
Dong brings a strong clinical foundation and extensive experience in student leadership and research - she will graduate this spring with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University. During the fellowship, she will work closely with the AMCP CEO and executive leadership team on initiatives related to governance, strategy, and organizational effectiveness.
“I look forward to taking ownership of meaningful projects, deepening my expertise in managed care pharmacy and association leadership, and contributing to AMCP’s mission,” Dong said. “This fellowship allows me to blend clinical knowledge with strategic insight, collaborate with thought leaders, and make a tangible impact on patient care and policy.”
In her free time, Dong enjoys walking with her dog and spending time with friends. (Fun fact: She loves peanut butter—but not peanuts.)
AMCP launched the Executive Fellowship in Health Care Association Leadership in 2021 to develop future leaders in managed care pharmacy and association operations. The program includes hands-on experience in governance, communications, advocacy, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. Eligible candidates must graduate from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy prior to the start of the program.
Dong will begin her fellowship on June 23, 2025.
