Findings from an AMCP Market Insights Program
This summit was held in San Antonio, Texas on October 15, 2013. AMCP convened a summit meeting of clinical experts and managed care executives to discuss the clinical evidence and value of current drug treatments; identify gaps that exist in the process of epilepsy care that may hinder outcomes; describe data needs for covering and adopting new treatments in practice; and formulated managed care strategies that can improve access to pharmacotherapy and improve those outcomes.
