As the health care landscape shifts from fee-for-service to value based incentives, quality measures are playing an increasingly important role for all health care professionals. The National Quality Forum’s (NQF) mission is to improve quality through measurement and endorse measures as a neutral convener. We invite you to hear Dr. Reva Winkler, Senior Director of Quality Measurements at NQF, discuss the NQF evaluation criteria. In addition, Dr. Alex Lin, Clinical Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, will discuss which quality measures pharmacists in the patient-centered medical home setting can support for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), Medicare Stars and the Quality Rating System to improve plan performance and patient outcomes.
