Special Features: 

The Oregon State University/Oregon Health & Science University College of Pharmacy is offering a 2 year fellowship providing advanced training in the areas of pharmaceutical policy and program evaluation, pharmacoepidemiology, and comparative effectiveness research. The fellow will receive formal training in biostatistics, epidemiology, clinical study design, and evidence synthesis, which can be applied to a Master of Public Health (emphasis in epidemiology and biostatistics) or Master of Clinical Research. During the fellowship, the fellow will plan, conduct, and disseminate results for 2-3 distinct research projects. During year 2, the fellow will work with the Pacific Northwest Evidence-based Practice Center (EPC), based at OHSU, on conducting systematic reviews. The fellow will also gain experience teaching in the College’s evidence-based medicine and drug policy curriculum. This program is intended to prepare the post-graduate fellow for a career in academia or industry.
