Schools of Pharmacy Relations Committee
Mission
To raise faculty and student awareness of both AMCP and managed care pharmacy consistent with the mission of AMCP.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and expertise on the importance of managed care pharmacy to schools and colleges of pharmacy.
- Review and make recommendations to enhance the AMCP Diplomat program.
- Create managed care pharmacy resources and opportunities to meet the needs of student pharmacists.
Composition
The Schools of Pharmacy Relations Committee is composed of 11 to 15 AMCP members, including the Chair and Vice Chair. The Chair of the Student Pharmacist Committee serves as an ex officio member.
Qualifications
Committee members must be AMCP members working in the managed care pharmacy profession.
Term of Appointment
Committee members are appointed for one-year terms. Committee members may be appointed for up to three consecutive one-year terms.
Time Commitment
Committee members are expected to attend all meetings, including national meetings, monthly conference calls, and ad hoc meetings as needed. In addition, members are expected to complete project work as assigned.
