Awards Selection Committee

Mission

The Awards Selection Committee is dedicated to recognizing excellent and outstanding contributions within managed care pharmacy. Through a fair and transparent selection process, the committee ensures that deserving individuals and organizations receive appropriate recognition for their achievements.

Responsibilities

  • Establish criteria and selection processes for the Distinguished Service, Individual Contribution, New Practitioner, and Spirit of Volunteerism Awards.
  • Review nominations and evaluate candidates based on established guidelines.
  • Maintain the integrity and prestige of the awards by adhering to ethical standards.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to the award process.

Composition

The Awards Selection Committee is composed of seven (7) members, including a Chair and Vice Chair.

Qualifications

Committee members must be Active AMCP members working in the managed care pharmacy profession.

Term of Appointment

Committee members are appointed for a one-year term. Committee members may be appointed for up to three consecutive one-year terms.

Time Commitment

Committee members are expected to attend all meetings, including national meetings, monthly conference calls, and ad hoc meetings as needed. In addition, members are expected to complete project work as assigned.
