Payer Perspective on Potassium Rising, A Recurrent Threat in Patients

Science and Innovation Theater Webinars

Webinar Recorded on May 6, 2020
Sponsored by Relypsa

Please join Jeff Dunn, PharmD, as he discusses the clinical consequences and economic impact of hyperkalemia on our healthcare system. Hyperkalemia is a serious condition that can occur quickly and unexpectedly in people with chronic kidney disease with co-morbid conditions, e.g., heart failure and/or type 2 diabetes. These co-morbidities along with other factors can increase the risk of hyperkalemia; and left untreated, these high-risk patients can face arrhythmias, sudden death; and often present in the emergency department and have multiple hospitalizations. Jeff will lead a conversation on novel strategies to manage recurrent hyperkalemia and answer your questions.

Speaker:

  • Jeffrey Dunn, PharmD
