You can find Managed Care Pharmacists in a wide variety of settings. In this video series, AMCP members share their experiences and insights from different settings to lend insight into the world of managed care pharmacy.  

Employment Setting:  Pharmaceutical Manufacturers 

Pharmaceutical Manufacturers work with other organizations to optimize patient outcomes. Managed Care Pharmacists work in a variety of areas, including HEOR, formulary support, and as the primary contact for other health care organizations. 
 

We also have the opportunity to work with health systems and decision makers to make sure that we are providing clinical evidence, health economic data, real world evidence and connecting all the important players together.
