Drug Product Pipeline Resources
Your gateway to tomorrow's medications, treatments, and cures.
AMCP and Apperture are proud to present the AMCP Drug Product Pipeline, the latest innovation in providing access and insight into the formulary decision-making process. Designed to alleviate the workloads of pharmacy benefit managers and health care decision makers, the Pipeline aggregates data from government databases as well as other publicly available sources to provide a one-stop portal featuring the next generation of pharmaceuticals.
The Pipeline showcases the clinical trials currently underway focusing on medications that are in Phase II, Phase II/III, and Phase III or receiving one of four FDA expedited program designations or approvals. The AMCP member-only product provides users with insight into the latest pharmaceuticals that will impact their managed care practice and patients' health over the next five years.
AMCP and Apperture have made four versions of the Pipeline available for use:
- Drug Product Pipeline Portal (Limited View) — This view provides a snapshot of the Pipeline's metrics, a topline description of the types of studies, their statuses and proposed end dates, and new trial recruitment broken down by sponsors or conditions.
- Drug Product Pipeline Portal — Non-Oncology (Member View) — This is the most comprehensive view of products in development. Users get all of the access from the non-member view, plus the additional ability to filter data by specific categories, manipulate data in tables, view specific clinical trials on government databases, and export different figures and statistics. This dashboard has only non-oncology therapy trials of therapies not yet approved by the FDA.
- Drug Product Pipeline Portal — Oncology (Member View) — Unique to members only, this view provides a view of products in development for treatments in development for oncologic conditions. Users will get all of the access from the non-member view, plus the additional ability to alter data by specific categories, manipulate data in tables, view specific clinical trials on government databases, and export different figures and statistics. This dashboard has only oncology therapy trials of therapies both approved and not yet approved by the FDA.
- Drug Product Pipeline Portal — FDA Expedited Programs (Member View) — New in December 2022, members can now monitor information on which products received FDA expedited program designation or have accelerated approval confirmatory trial commitments to guide planning and re-evaluation as new information becomes available. Similar to the other dashboard views, users can filter by clinical conditions, alter data by specific categories, and export different figures and reports.
