- Doctor of pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy

Fringe Benefits:
The annual stipend for the resident is $47,500. Health benefits include (but are not limited to) medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance. Special Features:
This is a unique Managed Care PGY1 with the possibility of an Ambulatory Care component. It also includes a longitudinal teaching experience at Cedarville University School of Pharmacy or University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Residents will interact professionally within an interdisciplinary team of caregivers to provide support and leadership within the managed care environment, ambulatory care clinic, and academic settings. Residents will develop innovative programs and contribute to ongoing projects by performing a variety of tasks as assigned by preceptors to further support pharmacy’s role in supporting the CareSource mission. Residents will focus on producing high quality, cost-effective and patient-centered pharmacy benefits through direct and indirect patient care activities. Residents will assist in formulary management, including policy writing and creating coverage criteria.
