Amanda Bain, PharmD, MPH, MBA, FAMCP is the Director of Pharmacy and Care Management for The Ohio State University Health Plan. She is accountable for the design, implementation, and evaluation of medical and pharmacy benefits, information systems, clinical programs, and population health initiatives. Dr. Bain currently leads and is responsible for healthcare spend and budgets across nursing, pharmacy, and provider relations teams and is the director of the accredited managed care pharmacy residency program. 

She has chaired and/or served numerous AMCP committees including Membership, Organizational Affairs, Professional Practice, and Schools of Pharmacy Relations and has represented AMCP on several Pharmacy Quality Alliance workgroups. Dr. Bain is a current AMCP Diplomat and the Midwest Region Diplomat Director. She is a past Secretary/Treasurer and founding member of the AMCP Ohio-Kentucky Affiliate. Dr. Bain has an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and economics and graduate degrees in pharmacy, public health, and business administration.
