Maribeth Bettarelli is the Executive Director of Quality and Accreditation at CVS Caremark where she is responsible for the organization’s accreditations and oversees the accreditation needs of health plan clients. She leads the CVS Caremark Quality Management Committee and provides strategic guidance to business process owners across the enterprise to ensure accreditation compliance, encourage continuous quality improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of quality. Prior to her current role, she held positions in clinical development and account management. In addition to over 20 years in managed care pharmacy, she has experience in ambulatory care, community pharmacy, and medical writing. 

Maribeth earned her PharmD from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed her pharmacy practice residency at the Chicago Veterans Affairs Health Care System. She is a longstanding member of AMCP and has served on several committees including Schools of Pharmacy Relations, Membership, and Organizational Affairs. She is a founding member of the AMCP Midwest Affiliate, an AMCP Diplomat, and a Silver Level AMCP Champion.
