Jim is currently Vice President, Health and Pharmacy Management at MVP Health Care Inc. Jim’s managed care career spans over 30 years, with experience in Commercial/Exchange, Managed Medicaid, and Medicare Part D programs. As Vice President of Health and Pharmacy Management for MVP Health Care, a regional not-for-profit health insurance company servicing New York and Vermont, he oversees the development and maintenance of pharmacy policies, formulary management, and all pharmacy vendor relationships. Jim is also accountable for MVP’s Retrospective and prospective UM programs, and clinical compliance.  Through partnerships with all stakeholders, he is passionately committed to ensuring the high-quality, cost-effective use of medications and other therapies.

Jim is Adjunct Faculty at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, is a student preceptor for four schools, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association, Northeastern New York Chapter.

Jim received his B.S. Pharmacy degree from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and his MBA in Health Systems Administration from Union College.

Jim has been an active member of AMCP for more than 30 years, previously serving on multiple AMCP Committees, the AMCP Northeast Affiliate Board, and the AMCP Board of Directors.
