Welcome to the 2018 AMCP Chapter Leadership Academy-This is Advocacy!

The AMCP Chapter Leadership Academy (CLA) is held in conjunction with the AMCP's Annual Meeting. The annual AMCP CLA brings together four officers and advisors from each of the AMCP Student Chapters to equip them with tools and best practices to improve their chapter's experiences. The AMCP Chapter Leadership Academy also features a keynote address and networking opportunities with other chapter leaders.

This year, there will be a focus on the What, Why and How advocacy makes a difference in managed care pharmacy. As the future of managed care pharmacy, it is imperative that as a leader in the community, student pharmacists are engaged in the legislative process, so that their continued involvement will shape the future of the industry.

Participation in this event will instill confidence in student pharmacists to become and remain active in managed care advocacy issues. This event will also arm students with tools and resources to bring back to their AMCP chapters in order to be engaged on both local and national levels.
