AMCP Northeast serves the AMCP membership in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont in three primary areas: networking, advocacy, and education.

Events & Activities

Are you a Student Interested in learning about a career in the pharmaceutical industry?

AMCP Northeast invites its student members to apply for the 2026 Student Pharmacy Programs in partnership with LEO Pharma and Gilead. Selected students will participate in an onsite visit to the manufacturer’s facility, gaining firsthand exposure to pharmaceutical industry operations and hearing directly from pharmacists across a range of career paths. Eligible applicants must be P2–P4 PharmD students, current AMCP members, and enrolled at a college of pharmacy within their AMCP affiliate region. Applications must be submitted to the appropriate affiliate by 12:00 pm ET on May 27, 2026.

AMCP Northeast Student Mentorship Program

The AMCP Northeast Student Mentorship program is administered by the AMCP Northeast Affiliate Board. The mentoring program provides guidance to student pharmacists on career development, collaboration with other professionals, and personal growth.

Mentors can assist students in the following ways:

  • Facilitate learning about Managed Care
  • Discuss how to effectively engage with other professionals
  • Offer advice on leadership and personal development
  • Promote student awareness of managed care career pathways
  • Provide career guidance to students as they explore extracurricular opportunities, including internships and professional development services such as mock interviews and resume/CV reviews.
