Educational/Special Requirements: 
Graduate of a US accredited college of pharmacy with a Pharm.D. degree and licensed, or eligible for California licensure by Oct. 31st, pharmacy school transcript, three letters of recommendation, letter of intent and curriculum vitae.

The Resident has a lot of flexibility in selecting an experience tailored to their skill needs and desired experiences that meet ASHP goals and objectives. Core experiences include: Acute Care and Inpatient Pharmacy, Oncology and Infusion Speciality Pharmacy, Anticoagulation, Outpatient Pharmacy, Project Management and Research, Drug Information and Formulary and Drug Use Management and Practice Management and Geriatrics/MTM Medicare Part D. Resident may extend any core experience as an elective, choose an elective at any other Kaiser Permanente SCAL site and or select electives in the ana Ambulatory Care practices which also include: Nephrology, Heart Failure, Geriatrics/MTM Medicare Part D, Peds and Adult Asthma/COPD and HIV/AIDs. Inpatient/Acute Care Pharmacy electives include any speciality practice area such as ICU/CCU, Emergency Medicine, NICU and Pediatrics.
