Pharm. D. from ACPE accredited college, three letters of recommendation, letter of intent, and curriculum vitae, official college transcripts, background check, Aetna employment application, and pharmacist licensure within 90 days of appointment.

The Aetna Medicaid Managed Care Pharmacy Residency will be an integral part of the Clinical Pharmacy Quality team that develops and implements quality initiatives for Medicaid plans, Part D Special Needs Plan, and Medicare-Medicaid plans, including STARs and HEDIS measures. Residents will also gain experience in prior authorization reviews, participation in P&T Committee meetings, participation in Interdisciplinary Team meetings, formulary management, utilization management, health plan pharmacy benefit management, Part D CMS regulations and State Medicaid regulations for pharmacy benefits. In addition, residents will be required to complete a residency project and attend national/regional pharmacy conferences.
