Educational/Special Requirements: 
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD preferred. Experiential or internship based experience in managed care pharmacy practice perferred. The candidate must receive Kentucky licensure no later than 60 days after the program begins. The applicant should be able to work in a team or individual capacity to achieve requirements for residency certification.

Humana's residency program provides for resident learning and training in a managed care setting.
Programs offered: Clinical Strategies, Pharmacy & Therapeutics; Clinical Programs focusing on therapy management and outcomes; Medicare Segment Support; coverage determinations; medication therapy management and research. Residents are introduced to clinical and business teams and Humana's Retail and Mail programms and provided opportunities in leadership development.
The program also requires completion of a resident project, manuscript and Teaching Certificate.
